Ada Lovelace has been called a true programmer’s symbol. Despite several objections in the scientific community that this is not true at all, she is considered the world’s first computer programmer. She was a collaborator of Charles Babbage, the creator of the design of the analytical machine. Just for this machine Ada wrote a program that allowed calculating the next words of a specific number sequence. It is, in fact, the oldest known modern computer program. Unfortunately, the Babbage machine has never been completed.
