She was a collaborator of Charles Babbage, the creator of the design of the analytical machine. Just for this machine Ada wrote a program that allowed calculating the next words of a specific number sequence. It is, in fact, the oldest known modern computer program. Unfortunately, the Babbage machine has never been completed.
